Justin: I'm an old shadetree mech., and have used two rough and ready ways
to measure toe out/in: 1) measure the inside distance between the front of the front tires or rims, and the inside distance at the rear of the same tires/rims. if the front measurement is less than the rear measurement, you have toe in. This is a strenous workout physically, and an easier way
i discovered is to run a string line from the rear wheel forward across the
front wheel after parking to make sure the car is pointed forward as much as possible. Holding the front end of the string line in your hand in front of the front wheel, bring the string line into the wheel. If it touches the
rear of the front wheel first, that front wheel is toed in. If it touches
the front of the front wheel first it is toes out. Repeat without moving the car on the other side for a complete picture of the front end alignement. I know im late, but FYI anyway. "The Kid"
