If you decide to rebuild the calipers, I learned a trick from a fellow I used to work with for attempting the removal of rusted pistons. Find a grease fitting that will fit the threaded hole for the brake pipe in the caliper body. Clamp all except the piston you want to remove. Pump grease into the caliper. If the hydraulic pressure of the grease gun will not push the piston out, the caliper is junk and you will have to find another one. Chances are that if you do get the piston out it will be badly corroded. I've had good luck with cleaning up the rust on calipers, but pitted pistons are a problem and you may have trouble finding new ones. A shop I worked for in New Hampshire eventually had the original set for a Rover 100 rechromed after first having a local machine shop make a set for them. He made them from aluminum and they expanded and locked up solid in the caliper the first time the brakes were applied and they heated up.
