I don't know for sure about this, but I think the 93 and 95/96/97 suspensions are basically the same parts except for different spindles depending upon whether you have drum or disc brakes. The only difference I know of on 96 tie-rod ends is that, as with most greased parts on all cars, SAAB took the grease fittings off and sealed them up starting in 1969, a move that I lament. I've had cars with NEW sealed ball joints that went bad very quickly because they did not have adequate grease in them from the factory. The worst case I've seen were Quinton Hazell ball joints for the Volvo 122/P1800. I've seen detectable wear in these ball joints within two weeks of installation and they needed replacing after only 6 months. And it wasn't just one set. I've seen them fail in a short time on several different cars.
