Any car that has sat for a long period probabl should have all fluids changed at the very least before starting it. As others have said, rubber parts will have dried up and likely start leaking once asked to start working again. This includes brake and clutch hydraulics, engine, transmission and wheel seals, cooling system hoses and vacuum lines on the intake manifold. The water pump is in the engine block and you want to look carefully for any rust down the side of the block. Follow the hose from the bottle on the fender over to where it connects to the engine. This is the water pump cover. Look below that for rust on the side of the block. This could be a sign of a major water pump leak, although the '78 99L that I just bought had a leak that turned out to be from the clamp on the hose. These pumps are become quite hard to find.
As for rust on the doors, all 99 and C900 doors are the same. Any 2/3-door will interchange with any other and any 4/5-door likewise. So you can get replacement doors from a wrecker if these are too bad. Body rust would have to be repaired with new sheet metal.
