Do I do the same thing for the 96 as I would the 99, except remove the little drive rod from its hole? And is there a cover for that shape of hole, or should I make one out of some certain guage of metal? Thanks for any help, the pump is already in and working wonderfully in the 99. (no more starvation and lagging for those dual carbs.)
