These were an option for the '74 EMS. They came in a box in the trunk and were stick-on decals. The ones for '73 and '74 were straight along the beltline from the front of the hood to just forward of where the back curves around to the truck lid. I've installed a few of these when i worked for the dealer in '74-5 and they were a pain to line up along the length of the car. I'm tempted to do paint them on my '78 99L whenever I do a paint job on it. I actually have a set, but they are so old I'm not sure what condition they are in anymore. In '75 the decal was changed to a "swoosh" (something like the Nike symbol) and ran along the side just below the window line (there's a little horizontal kick-out below the window then it bends to vertical) and wrapped around the rear side window to just below the roofline. There were versions of this stripe available for the both 2-door and 3-door models as in '76 the EMS was a 3-door. I'm also tempted to try to design some "swoosh" style ones for my '75 4-door and the '80 900 5-door.
