Hi. Welcome to the joy of 99 ownership -- mine has broken down in every East Coast state except Delaware, and I still love it...anyway:
1. The ignition lock is really horrendous. Before too long, the lock barrel will probably break off at the bottom, so that when you pull out the key the lock will come with it. Fortunately, once that happens, you'll be able to start it with a screwdriver! I've found, too, that when the ignition sticks and won't let me turn off the engine (which happens frequently), it responds to a swift knock with a hammer on the front of the console into which the ignition lock and gearshift fit (knock toward the back of the car, parallel to the gearshift rod.
2. A slight variation on the excellent suggestions people have already made for bleeding the clutch: cut a section of bike inner tube that extends for about ten inches on either side of the valve stem. On one side, roll the tube up to the valve stem and secure it so it's airtight. You can slip the other end over the neck of the filling hole on the master cylinder and secure it with a hose clamp. Then, using a bike pump, you can inflate the section of bike hose like a ballon, providing continuous pressure while you're messing around with the slave cylinder.
Good luck,
Brian
