I had an unlucky experience with an '84 90 (=99 with the 900 sedan hatch). I found out too late the turbo really didn't fit in. By then I had taken the head off and had the whole thing apart. But that's an h-engine. I assume you're talking about a b-engine. The k-jetronic is really easy. OTOH I'd say it takes a fuel tank, pump, relay, distributor, intake manifold. Please do a proper study on the warm-up regulator/auxiliary air valve and the thermo time switch/cold start injector. The latter are hooked up on the starter, the former I don't remember exactly, but you can connect them to any fuse.
The pump officially needs a relay, but you might skip that. (Just remember the danger; the relay is there to turn off the pump if the engine stalls with contact still on)
One more thing: be very careful not to squeeze the new fuel lines between the tank and the chassis. This happens very easily and the car won't run with a choked return line! (guess who that happened to)
Well, all this really relates to an h-engine, but I hope some of it serves you. I have some diagrams for the electric stuff. You might want to mail me for these.
