When I picked up my 1976 99 EMS new at the dealer in 1976, the first thing I noticed was the slight film like fog on the window, particularly when the sun beat down on the interior. I tried everything to remove this, finally finding that a soft cloth in the side pocket and a quick wipe now and then was the only solution.
Guess what, it's now 26 years later, and I still have a 1976 99 EMS and now another 1976 and a 1979 EMS and they all still do the film/fog thing. I've just learned to wipe better. Good luck !
