Yes I was talking about the fuel injection unit. Guess I'll start looking around for that and the fuel dist.
Sounds like the transmission will work ok for me, and will not be hard to change later if I want. Thanks for all the great info.
Here's an interesting mystery. I have a 99 parts index that lists a "fuel regulator" for the 99 and early 900. Part nos. are 8338527, 8318867... What is this?? I can't find reference to it in any other literature. It's not the fuel distributor, warm-up regulator, accumulator, filter, pump, etc. Haven't seen it under the hood either.
