I've got the same car. I've had the same problem. There is a small check valve in the return line right near the gas tank. It is easily accessible after you remove the passenger side rear tire, though you can get to it from underneath. That little deal is supposed to help keep pressure in the line.
Option 2, there is a check valve in the fuel pump itself that can go bad. When you remove the fuel line from the pump, your see a spring loaded thingy down in there (or if you have a later pump, the whole thing screws down into the pump) and the O-ring with that check valve goes south. Essentially, as stupid as I am with these things, I understand that the fuel pressure should hold for a certain amount of time. For you, the system is bleeding off within 4 minutes as you say, and requires a lot more time to get the fuel back up to the injectors. I'm sure other's would call me a fool, but I have always remedied THAT problem with replacing THESE two things. They are relatively cheap as well.
