Hi, I have just changed mine. I thought I just needed to change the o rings but when I got the core out there were two small spots of oxide which are probably tiny leaks. One of the O ring was leaking too. Unfortunately after reading on the board about cylinder heads leaking I have noticed a small leak on the right corner of the head near exhaust manifold. That's the next an hopefully the last leak I have to address. On a good note for you: the job for the heater core is very simple if you know what to do. If I were to do do it again in a hurry I think I can do it in 1.5 hour max (900 SE turbo 1997 with ACC). I took 4 just because I lost time with a cooling system flush and to figure out how to get at the core. I lost time also with some of the connector to the switches (the rear set heating was a bitch)and the ignition key panel. If needed I'll post a detailed step procedure.
