Head Bolt Torque follow-up

You folks are great.
Last December I found my head gasket leaking. Took the car into a local specialist who had no idea about the service bulletin and ammended bulletin for the loose head bolts on the 2.0 Litre engine (97 Talladega with about 97,000km at the time).
I did some research in the archives and several of the old posting spoke of people having the same problem. I downloaded the TSB's, bought the valve cover gasket and got to work.
IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO AND YOU HAVE A LEAK DO THE SAME IMMEDIATELY. As several other people noted the bolts were literally finger tight. One of the bolts was only held in place by the valve cover itself.
Once tightened the leak was gone.
I was quoted very serious dollars and very serious time out of service so they (the mechanic) could send the head out to see if it was warped or what the root cause was.
Total cost to repair: $40 Canadian.
Your help: Priceless.
