I have a 96 900se turbo with about 120k. The past 6 months the check engine light has been coming off and on, last 2 months has stayed on constantly. The past 2 weeks I have notice a reduction in gas mileage highway 17-18mph and city 11-13mph. I have replaced (myself), the front & back oxygen sensor, pressure sensor, temp. sensor, pcv valve and spark plugs, all within the 6 months. I took it to AutoZone, a week ago and got the code, 1171. Car runs ok, except lately it also, tends to sort of shake, almost stall, if I brake a little too hard. I am out of ideas. I am not a mechanic, sort of learn and go. I am tempted to take it to the dealer, and let them socket to me. Any suggestion, before I do that.
