Hey Guys! I am the proud owner of a 1997 900s convertable with an auto trannyI got a bunch of questions concerning my car. Its a great car but there are a couple of quirky things about it that are bothering me. I also have some questions about improving performance and appearance.I know you guys know these cars inside and out, and since i'm a newb to saab i figured you were the guys to ask.

My first question concerns the tonneau motor. Since i bought it, i've had the motor reinforced and realigned twice, and it seems like it may need to be realigned again sometime soon. Is this something that's going to happen a lot?

Since i've been driving it around, when i start the car up, 80-90% of the time it will stall out. If it doesn't stall when i start it up, there is a good chance that it will stall out when i shift it into reverse. At first I figured this could be explained by how cold it has been (I live near Albany in NY), but now that its been in the 40's and 50's I dont think thats a good explanation. I saw on a previous post that this could be indicitive of low atf levels? When it shifts it shifts a little hard and lurches the car, so could low atf be causing both these things?

I've heard a lot of you guys talking about replacing the airfilter box with something else. What do you replace it with and will it pass inspection? I want to fit a K&N filter into it but i'm pretty sure they're cylindrical not rectangular like the stock airbox.

Eventually I want to replace the exhaust system with a sports exhaust system. Now for the stupid question- Is this a job that a beginner could take on without breaking everything? How much of a performance boost can I expect if I do this?

Are there any black-amber tinted lenses for the headlights and taillights available from saab or an aftermarket source?

Will a 93 grill fit onto a 900s?

Sorry if the post is a little long i'm just really enthusiastic about my car. I guess Saabs do that to ya :)
