OK, I've posted about this before. Problem comes and goes. Seems much more prevalent with the recent warm weather. Mechanic thought is was the oxygen sensor due to CEL code he read with Tech II, so he replaced it. Problem persists.
Yesterday, temps close to 80, my car wouldn't hold a steady idle at 1,000 rpm. It would basically do what sounds like stumbling, sometimes stalling, when I have to stop for a light or stop sign. This morning with temperatures close to 60, it ran fairly fine with only minor blips when idling. Reading through the archives have me wondering if I should replace the vacuum lines as my next attempt to remedy. Maybe MAP sensor?
In the last six months I've replaced the brakes front and back, front brake master cylinder, oxygen sensor, alternator, DI cassette and plugs. Car is getting up there, but I can't bring myself to say enough is enough.
