If the MAP was bad you would get severe running problems and adaption failure CELs.

Have you cleaned the TB and IAC?

Check the large VAC line from the TB to the purge valve on the fender. Sometimes the crack will be on the lower side and you can see it visually. When you have the TB cover off to clean it and the IAC, you can give things a good inspection. A T5 system does not have idle problems with most VAC leak situations. That been said, the VAC line from the MAP to the TB is very critical. But problems there would normally affect more than idle.

Have you pulled and read the plugs lately? Any oil on the plugs from a DI coil leak? Plugs oily from a VC leak? Blow and clean around the plugs before removal... you don't want crap dropping into the cylinders. Id does not matter if the plugs are newish or not, read them.

Have you checked ground integrity from the base of the OS sensor to the battery ground clamp? Such things cause sensor faults with sensors that are in good running order. You can't wear out your brakes and transfer frustration from that to the engine. (BTW, many master cylinder problems are caused by technique problems when changing pads and doing brake bleeds.)

What have you done to clean the injectors? Often a bottle of Techron Contentrate by itself will eliminate starting and idling problems.

DIs fail and so do Os sensors. You have a mature engine and things will wear out. Just deal with one problem at a time.

Running OK when cooler might indicate that the ECU is running richer then for cold starts. How do the problems manifest themselves after the engine is thoroughly heated up VS cold or warming?
