So the Haynes manual is decent? I'd heard of bad things about it - my roommate has a BMW 325is or whatever and he swears by his Bentley manual.
Just showed it off to my parents and they were impressed - it's been really babied and looks more like a 98 than a 94 judging by the paint.
Now I just gotta sell my old beater 89 Ford Taurus that was pretty much just creaking by - got me through college but now I can afford something better. It's just so nice having a nice car for once! I agree about the looks of the car though - I keep on doing the double take when I walk away to check my new baby out.
The front end is feeling a little light - the mechanic I brought it to do a pre-buy inspection told me that one of the front bushings is starting to go, thinking I'll get that done pretty soon. Is it a good idea to replace the struts while they're in there? Also, can any good auto shop do a suspension job or is it something that typically needs to be done by a Saab mechanic? Sorry if that's a stupid question, I'm used to working on cars but I know that Saabs have their little quirks. If I can just bring it to any auto repair place though, that'd be sweet - Scanwest here in Seattle wants $600 for the bushing replacement.
