At breakdown, 84,500 miles. I considered my transmission problem to be totally random... it could have happened to any brand of car. I've not seen a similar problem discussed on this board.
As far as the other problems you listed, the tonneau motor has been somewhat problematic. The aerial is an annoyance, but replacement aerials are inexpensive and an easy DIY project. When you say cambelt, I'm assuming you have a V-6, as the 4 cylinder engines have a chain drive cam. Cambelts (timing belts) must be changed with regular frequency on any car. It doesn't seem to me that your problems have been that severe, but that's just me. If you read this board with regularity, you'll gain a wealth of knowledge of how to head off problems before they become critical, and how to accomplish DIY repairs saving yourself lots of money.
