The Kappa 32.5CF's are reported on this BB to drop in in this application. They have a proper outboard crossover network and are excellent. They will outperform speakers with a tiny bibolar cap as the cross over network. The crossover network can also be upgraded with film and foil or metalized polypropylene capacitors as replacements or bypass caps.

Do not put full way speakers in the doors. Multiple sources of high frequencies simpley create a muddle. And for doors that have subwoofers in them, there are no high freqencies. Getting carried away with the rear speakers can also be counter productive in some regards.

Tweeters on the dash and midrange drivers elsewhere also muddle up the sound staging. A co-ax two way speaker is great. There are not many choices for good speakers in 3.5" and many of these, even from good companies, are a joke.

Yo connect. Fold over the wire from the x-over and solder it. Now flatten that with some smooth jaw pliers to form your own spade connector. Insert that into the Saab speaker harness connector and you are done. Wrap the X-over in some foam or poly batting so that it cannot rattle around.

I think that you will be surprised at how good the electronics are with those dash speakers.
