What about the A/C? You already have a saab so you know what you are up against. Make the lowest offer you feel comfortable with, they will counter, then your turn... Move some but dont pay too much. Check KBB.com for private party value, you will be surprised, if the car is "good shape" it's worth $5000. Sounds like a lot of issues, something says keep looking.

Child seats work well in these cars, but use the belt lock clasp that comes with the seat anyway - teathers too. Follow ALL the instructions that come with the seat to the letter! EVERYDAY-that means no toys...


***make sure you can sit in the front seat with the child seat placed in the middle rear with the handel DOWN like the instructions say! The handel can kill your child if you are in an accedent with it placed up! Check this first before you buy any car! If you are over 6' you may have issues.

Also once you think you have the seat in take the car to AAA (its free) and let them inspect it. They say 99% of people put them in wrong - amazing.

One big draw back - as your child gets older, and turns around to face forward, the windows are so high they cant see out of the NG900. This is not that big a deal but you can never say "hay, look at that Jr". Just some tips - I could go on and on.... Good Luck!
