Super easy. Pop the hatch open. The cargo area walls are that kind of felt covered plastic. By each tail light this Felt wall has a little hatch/door/cover about 6" x 6", you just kind of pull that open and voila. Access to the bulbs are there. Have someone stomp the brake pedal for her at that point and she will be able to see which bulb is burned out and can pull it out. Standard sylvania bulb with a number stamped into it. Easy to match or look up in the books they have (sometimes they even have a touch screen to match bulb to car year model) in the bulb isle of any car parts/hunting/camping type store. Very standard. Very easy. They will help you match it if you need help. Then put it back in. Usually there is a big nubbin' on one side of the bulb and a smaller one on the other (not threaded, just these two 'keys') put them in (only one way will be possible due to the odd sized keys) and a half turn should do it. Close the felt cover and drive away happy.
