Peter,
obviously you live in a climate where the use road salt. This stuff eats up the pistons and the only way you can slow it down is to tear down the brakes and clean and lube the pistons with brake grease routinely. You really need to tackle this yourself as you are the only one who cares, you know the job is done right and you can avoid spending a fortune. I did the fronts and rears on my 94 SE and used new springs and clips and high quality pads. That will make more difference than the larger rear brakes. My NG 900 brakes much better than my 00 9-3 that has the bigger brakes, but with factory pads. Dont spend money upsizing the rear brakes, but rather spend it on improving what you already have. It is pretty clear the caliper on the right will need to be replaced, you may get it unstuck and lubed, but the piston surface is likely already pitted.
