DOn't know of specific dead-DI codes, but all the symptoms are there. My '95 did the same thing at ~113k: driving along just fine one moment, then ~20-30sec. of loss of power and some ignition missing, then it just died. Cranked fine, but wouldn't fire. I ordered a DIC from eEuroparts, plugged it in and the car fired right up. My 80k mile '96 on the other hand had an intermittant miss, three times over a period of about a month it would all of a sudden start running on three cylinders for ~30sec., trip the CEL, then go back to normal. The first time this happened, the dealer fixed some vacuum lines, the third time they recommended replacing the DIC (For ~$600!). I bought one on line and have had no problems so far, but it's only been a couple of weeks - too soon to claim a fix.
That's a long way to say that at 8 years and 100k miles, your car is due for a new DIC, regardless of whether that's problem or not. Buy one and you'll either fix this problem or avoid one in the future.
