was priceless. I probably would have came to the same conclusion. I used new springs and they were really stiff. No way you will get them on with a pliers. I used an old coat hanger, made a tiny hook and pulled the spring to the hole in the caliper, when over the hole, gave it a tap with a hammer to fit it in, removed hook and tapped in more to secure it, you saved me at least a half hour of four letter words.
