94'900S 2.3L 65,000 miles. Follow up to my post dated 1/7.
The sleeve came out very easily. Upon insection it does show scoring very similar to the picture posted by Ander's (thank you Anders) although not as severe. I can feel the scoring when I run my fingernail against the sleeve. So based on this it looks like the sprockets are starting the deteriorate. If I proceed with repair should I purchase the balance chain/sprocket "kit"? and while I'm at it should I consider replacing the timing chain? Thanks for all comments/opinions
