I got my crank sensor at eeuro... $39.60. They have one listed for $100, but I am not sure what it is ... they are both saab original, so clearly the $100 one is different. I am guessing it is the solid state cam sensor inside the distributor for us NA guys. I'll admit I didn't even check saabsite. The crank sensor has a blue connector that connects right behind the block. It is on top around the fuel rail near the FPR. THere are several connectors here.
I don't fault your trying the relay, but your "hotwired" fuel pump strategy should have taken the relay out of play, I believe.
