Cutting was not a problem at all© Dremel could not be held at the proper angle, so I just used a mini hacksaw, which was perfect -- with the clearance and the angle ¥I was cutting from under the car¤© It took me about 5 minutes©
Removing the bolt that seized, on the other hand, took me a day -- with the pauses to think, and the trips to the store, and trying to find any information about how to do it once its head had been rendered useless©©©
The difference is indeed amazing© It feels like I have a brand-new car now©
I am now working on undoing the nasty habbit, that formed over the years, of snapping at the shifter with all my force every time I need to change gears ©©© The shifts are so effortless now that it makes me worried everytime if I had really engaged© What a change!
