I have thought about chiseling the sensor off. I am not sure if this is prudent or not ... it deals with some sensitive stuff, and don't want to cause more problems. It bolts right into the block, so there is no removing a larger auxilary part. I can get a vice grip on the end of it, but since it pointed at the bolt, there is no torque before they twist off. But if the sensor were out of the way...
