TCS? Would that be the TCS that lights-up on the tach, or the "TCS off" light? If TCS then there is something wrong with the TCS system. If TCS off indicator, have you tried cleaning the throttle body? For me that helps, however, if the TCS off indicator bothers you then you may change the throttle body, expensive. In my case, the TCS off light pops up a few seconds after the car rolls. After cleaning the throttle body, it kind off stopped, but it comes back after driving 40 to 50 miles. For me, the throttle body price aint worth it since the car is running.
TCS is not related to spedometer unless I missed something. The TCS system manages the wheel spin by retarding the throttle. The TCS system gets its info from the four ABS sensors through the ABS system. If the TCS light, found on the tach side, lights up, then there the TCS is messed-up. You have to bring that to a SAAB specialist so he can get fault codes via a scantool and figure out the problem. TCS and ABS are related. What do you mean my spedo craps out? Details?
