Wouldn't new struts/shocks be stiffer than old for more control? Or is that not what you are going for? (curious)
If the suspension is modified to keep the inside front wheel on the ground to avoid losing traction in corners, there is a trade-off. The things that couple the motion of the front wheels better during cornering also make the front suspension less forgiving when you go over a bump.
As for bushings, even my 8-year-old stock bushings will cause a loud "thump" on a speed bump when they get stiff and tight in sub-zero weather (helps keep Saab owners awake on winter mornings)
Some fwd cars with modified suspensions tend to break loose in the rear on snow and rain covered roads. Not sure if this happens with NG900 because I have not modified my suspension, but I would watch it for a while until you get used to it, after that it can be sort-of fun... :)
