My cable broke, replaced it, and in 6-months had trubs. Seems as someone said here, it was the clutch's condition as my problem was not another broken cable but ugly noises, grinding, and a nasty smell. Yikes.
Just got it fixed. Also have replaced battery etc too. Curious, at ~110k and being a '97 900S what else should I be expecting to go? Shocks, maybe?
First time Saab owner thansk you for the advice.
