I am in shock......
Has the rear axle been dented or bent? The rubber bushings also then take a load that they are not designed for. If the axle bends, the camber goes wrong. Vertical loads go from the tire to the hub and the spring nearby then to the chassis. The axle is made to be flexable, so it is mostly a torsion spring, not a strong rigid structure.
The rule is to never do this!!!
Yes, there is no provision to jack up the vehicle and then get the jacking points on to axle stands. Most axle stands today are designed to do maximum damage to a sheet metal body. Ditto for the jacks with small lifting pads with teeth. Large rubber lifting pads are what one needs.
