Hello:

I had my fuel pump sending unit replaced a month ago and ever since then I've had two problems.

#1. The fuel gauge now drops off of the "Full" mark and goes to 3/4 after only 30-40 miles, won't read higher and sits there for a few days while the real gas amount seems to catch up, and then seems to read ok for the rest of the tank after the gas level drops to 3/4 and lower.

#2. My mpg has gone to hell. I used to average 20/28 mpg and now it's more like 17/23. Is this in any way related to the fuel pump unit?
