Have you done an electrical check? According to WIS, remove fuse 28 for 5 seconds and re-insert. Remove fuse 16B and coneect positive probe of the multimeter to top and negative to the bottom of the fuse slot. When you turn the key, there should be 12V for 6 seconds. After the voltage drops to zero, crank the key, and if there is no voltage (12V), then ECU is not receiving a signal from CPS. I know you changed your CPS but double check again. If CPS is good, you should have 12V after the initial 6 seconds. What is the resistance reading on the new sensor? It should be around 500ohms. Also, it could be the wire from the mating CPS to ECM. However, I highly doubt that.
