Update - Oil in coolant

I reported earlier this week about an engine failure on my 1995 3.0l V6 that resulted in oil passing into the coolant. I drained the pan to find that there was still 2 1/4 quarts of oil left. There are no visible signs of coolant in the oil but I'm sending a sample out for analysis.
I have a couple of questions. According to my wife the oil pressure light did not come on but is 2 1/4 quarts of oil enough to prevent low oil pressure or engine damage? Also, now that my coolant is full of oil (and will probably stay that way for the next week or so), what do I need to replace? I was thinking the hoses need to be replaced but what about the water pump (is it a plastic impeller) and radiator (plastic end caps)?
Thanks,
Jeff
