Hello, I drive a 95 SE conv and I got the Bilstein Touring shocks/strut inserts (All 4 corners) for 289.00 shipped. I also did the brace + Rear bar and the package transformed the car.
On the shocks, unless you live in an area where the roads are very smooth, I think the tourings are close to the practical limit of the chassis and the Bilstein HD's might be overkill. The HD's might be great on tin top cars but I think the extra stifness would make the bumps flex the convertible chassis (Even with the brace) and somewhat negate the handling advantages you would expect from stiffer shocks.
I would say replace the shocks 1st if yours are not tight. (Does your fron-end bob up and down?) If your shocks are good then the brace makes a very significant difference in both confort and handling by making the suspension absorb the bumps instead of the bumps flexing the chassis.
Third, if you you like to corner hard, the anti-roll bar does make for a happier car/driver around the curves since the turn-in is so much better, it rolls less, and it also underesteers a lot less.
The bar is only $90.00 and is fairly easy on DIY so to me it was a no-brainer.
