Chiming in...a couple of new issues, what else?

Well thanks to all who responded to me oil light problem. Figured it out and it was indeed a bad oil pressure sending unit. Thank goodness.
Now a couple of new issues. When I go over a small bump or a crease in the road, the left front suspension (or something) makes an annoying metallic sound. Kind of like to metal plates hitting one another. Is this a bad strut mount? I checked the suspension and everything looked good and tight. I do have a bad exhaust heat shield that is loose and rattling, but I don't think that is causing the sound.
Also, how loud is your fuel pump's sound? I have a constant high pitch whine. I guess it's always been there, but I am a little paranoid now. Isn't there a way to change the pump without dropping the tank, like through the rear floor by cutting the carpet???
Thanks all.
