85 octane ok?

I recently gave my '94 900s to my girlfriend to drive since her car died, and she's a poor grad student. We live in Colorado and you generally have 3 grades of gas - 85, 87, and 91 octane available. When I was driving the car, I generally put in 87....will the car be ok/run fine with 85 octane? It has the 2.3l motor with about 158,000 miles on it.....
I run 93 octane in my Viggen......
Thanks,
Eric
