Power goes from battery via maxi fuse #3 under the hood near battery, then to the ignition switch. Near the switch (120mm) there is a crip J1 and the wire forks to two contacts on the switch. From with switch wire (terminal 54 brown/grey) goes to J88 (near brake light switch) to fuses 20, 21, 22. If those loose power, ignition switch probable. If those fuses have power and 3, 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, 26, 31 do not have power, that would be because the ignition relay that feeds these is not working. That relay coil is energized by J88 and it gets its main unswitched power from maxi fuse #4 which you should also inspect. Relay also powers fuses 10, 11, 13 in box under the hood. Check for any connections at maxi fuses... I don't know if there is anything there that can go mechically wrong. Check wire from there to battery +ve to see if that wire is insecure in battery terminal or corroded there.
The maxi fuses are near the battery on the fender.
The relay is on a board to the left of the steering column. Position E, in center row at the end with two small relays.
The relay coil grounds to a point on the A LH pillar. You will need to pull back some trim and find the ground point there. I think that there is more than one of these ground points. Check that ground point fasteners are tight. Check that ground wires are securely crimped into the connectors.
If you expose the ignition switch you can hot wire the switch output and hear the relay click it. With key removed, measure ohms on that wire to ground. You will see the coil resistance. If open circuit, coil, relay socket or seating, or the coil ground are bad.
If you can find the relay, you can check that it is seated properly, and may be able to pop the cover and inpect for mechanical problems or bad or mechically failed solder joints etc. Check coil resistance etc.
When ignition is on and things are dead, or ignition off, you can inject power at fuses 20, 21, 22 and that should find its way back to the relay coil and energize it, and that turns on all of the other fuses listed above.
The above should allow you to trouble shoot. You should be able to quickly narrow things down to the ignition switch or the relay. We see lots of ignition switch (electrical portion) failures and I don't recall ever seeing an ignition switch relay failure.
