The code definitions do not match what I found online, see link below to confirm.

P1416/Saab specific: Tank Level, Low Level in Conjunction W/ Misfiring Or Faulty Fuel System
P0171/Generic: System Too Lean (Bank 1)
P0300/Generic: Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

from http://www.iequus.com/obd_def.asp

I suspect you have done this already but I would start with the simplest thing that has caused me headaches in the past, vacuum hoses, and problems with the evap canister purge valve (which is supposed to recirculate gas tank fumes into the engine). (I have a 1996 SET w. 100k miles)

The vacuum hose leading to the MAP sensor is probably the least likely to fail, it is either silicone rubber or similar from the factory. But, I just had to replace the vac hose leading from the throttle body to the fuel pressure regulator for the second time, and the rest have been replaced once or twice.

The purge valve is supposed to cycle under control of the ecu, and not let too much gas fumes into the engine at the same time (someone posted a link to a really good description of how it works a few days ago). I think I solved my last idle problem with the help of that post (still waiting a few days to confirm that).

If the fuel tank was pressurized due to a bad purge valve, it could screw up the tank sensors, but that is a longshot.
