I installed the Sylvania Xtra Vision halogen bulbs in my Viggen a while back. They claim to be 30% brighter than the standard bulbs and last quite a bit longer. I checked for the brightness difference during installation (standard bulb in one headlight, xtra vision in the other) and their brightness claims seem to be about right. The color of the light is the same as any regular halogen bulb, just a bit brighter. And I think I got them on sale for about $8 per bulb. Happy with them so far.
