Wipe the glass bulbs down with alcohol wipes and DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING BUT THE METAL PARTS OF THE BULB WHILE INSTALLING. I did not do this for the first set and they lasted less than two months. I got frustrated and stopped using them. I then read about cleaning them with alcohol before installing. So, I did this and I've had the cool blues in for 4 months no problem.
