Hi,
I'm looking for the service manual of 2001 93 SE. Doesn't have to be a shop manual, just for normal maintenance, fluid changes kind of things. Being a mechanically chanllenged person (Oil change was as far as I've gone), I'm willing to learn but need step by step instructions from the book.
While we're at it. I'm thinking of putting in a K&N filter. I'm not even sure how to open the air box. There are two screws next to the hose connector and another on the other side facing down. However, there is also a cable bundle sitting on top of the edge of the box which seems to prevent lifting of the cover. Could anyone shed some light on this.
BTW, I've talked to someone in SAAB parts dept. He claims that sport exhaust will give 6-7 hp while K&N filter is a wash. Any thoughts?
This is off topic, just FYI. We got an auto Aero for my wife due to bad traffic in SF Bay area. At first I thought it's kind pedestrian compared to a stick Aero I drove before. Then I hit the sports mode and it becomes a totally different car. I suspect it does more than delaying shift up, the throttle response is much better. Very cool. Now I won't dread that much of driving hers. We dumped my Audi S4 and her BMW 328 to this configuration and we're happy. Well at least I am.
Thanks a lot for the help.
