I have never heard of the Saab amp having a switch to turn the low-pass filter on or off. It may be possible to defeat it by opening the amp and jumpering around the filter, but that may or may not be very easy.
The other question is what can the stock Saab door speakers do with a full-range signal? They may be mid-range speakers that cannot reproduce the higher frequencies. I have never seen specs on the speakers themselves.
