There is a dealer in Wallingford, CT called Imports Unlimited, which seems to have a continuous supply of nice late model cars at very attractive prices... the first time I saw any of their ads I wondered if something had to be wrong with the cars, the prices were so good, but with the endless supply of cars they seem to have, I have concluded that they must be alright, though I've never actually seen any of their cars close up. The price is definitely great, and you have another 16,000 miles on warranty, or four years from the date the car was originally put into service. I have owned two former rental cars and both were as good as any other used cars. One thing I did notice was that the oil was always changed regularly, but little else was done, so whatever the major service is (30 or 35k miles) is probably not done. My guess is that if your mechanic finds anything expensive wrong, they won't want to fix it at $13,000, because at that price they don't have much $ room to fix things, and they know somebody will be happy to pay that price. Remember if you are getting the car at $5,000 below the typical market price, even if it takes $1-2,000 to bring it up to scratch, you are still waay ahead.
