See my post on rear brake work on the NG900 BB. You can find my installation posts with drs_install as a search keyword.

Yes they should machine up if they are not worn much. You can purchase new rotors for less than 1/2 of what the dealer charges. The rear brakes supplied by cybertroll.com are good quality, german made and a ground finish.

You can get EBC for the fronts from tirerack.com, but EBC's for the rear are not usually listed. But I expect that they are available. Perhaps needing pin holes filed out to elongage. Getting new shims can be difficult for the rear brakes. Today they seem to be stick on types not separate units. I put a post on the general BB trying to see if folks would be interested in some laser burnt stainless steel shims that would last forever and got no takers.

These are the parts for a 1995 SET from last April.

FOR> 95 900 SE 4

Left and Right hand calipers for rear axle. Complete with hold down
springs and pins. $ 159.99 ea. (THIS WAS FOR NEW, ONLY REBUILDS AVIAL NOW)

Brake pads $ 29.99 for same, with new anti squeal shims.

Rear rotors $ 36.00 ea.

Front brake pads $ 39.99 and rotors. 59.00 ea.

END

So for $36.00 each, is it work machining the old ones?

The brakes changed in 1997, so the prices could very well be different.
