Plastic black ext. trim on 99 9-3 has faded to white?!?

I bought this car from a used car dealer. The exterior trim that wraps around the car was black but after I washed the car for the first time, the plastic trim looks white in many places. Is this something that commonly happens on 3-year-old Saabs with under 25K miles on them? Should I see a Saab dealer about this because it is still under warrenty for 7 months? Or would this just be considered normal wear and tear instead of a poorly designed trim material? Has anybody else had similar problems?
