sure they make the plastic look brilliant but only for about a day or so. On my car I found it was the products that were leaving the film. I scrubbed the rubber bits with all my might(literally) and stopped using those greasy products. Now my plastic looks fine. But, sometimes I miss that nice shine. Oh yeah, those tire sprays/foams/gels will leave a brownish tint on yer tires too, I stopped using them.
