Hi there,
I've test driven 2 9-3 SEs now. Both had a subtle steering feedback that to me resembled out of balance tires. Both dealers claimed they were fine. I never did figure it out. I've driven hundred's of thousands of miles in many different cars. I trust what my hands are feeling.
But I *did* test drive an Acura RSX type S this past weekend. It had no such "feedback" and was a much better handling car than the 9-3. The only things I missed where: a) that wonderful turbo rush (the RSX is dead on linear) and b) the larger car with luxury goodies like electric seats. The RSX seats were more comfortable too IMHO. But I'm getting off topic here.
If I can get some 9-5 seats to fit the 9-3, I may try to pick up an '02 Viggen this fall ... assuming I can test drive one without that "road feedback."
